Let’s Update Folks, Shall We?!

So, what’s going on everyone? F.I.L.T.H has spent the last couple of months involved in the absolutely spectacular OrlandoBands.com and Evermore Sound Battle of the Bands(evermorebattle.com). We may not have won in the end, but we took 3rd place out of 48 amazing bands. Over the last few months, we’ve made a lot of friends, had a lot of fun, and now we get to go record a track at Evermore Sound(soooo excited!). In case you are wondering about the shenanigans that went down, here’s whats up!

You can, of course, see more of this at WeAreFILTH.net(aka our facebook page). We’d like to also remind you that our songs Dirty and Soft are available for sale at CDbaby.com, or you can go to WeAreFILTH.bandcamp.com and download not just Dirty and Criminal for only $1 a piece, but if you give us a measely $2.50, you get a third OTHER track as well! Not gonna say which, but buy the album and you’ll see. It’s a good’n.

Otherwise, we are working on some very special things, and as soon as we have more details for you, we will let you know!

Also, big congrats to Zebra Panic(https://www.facebook.com/ZebraPanic?fref=ts)  for taking second place, and a mega big congrats to Lions After Dark(https://www.facebook.com/lionsafterdark?fref=ts) for taking first! We look forward to hanging with both of those bands again real soon! Thanks to OrlandoBands.com, Bison Discs, Mel’s Bad Girls Club, Spawn Guitars, Custom Classic Cases, Evermore Sound, InEarz Monitors, and the BackBooth for making this awesome night possible!

Facebook Is Trying To Stop Our Fun(Also, Show Photos!)

So, we had a really awesome show at The Haven on July 27th with Vital Pain, (N)Ception, Selfles, and Fear The Concept, brought to you by Reclaimed Strings Project, About You Custom Tattoo, and, of course, the incredible Maniacal Mojo! I mean, truly everyone had a great time(if you missed it, we are very sorry, but you are dumb as hell). To prove to you how great it was, look at some of these!

Yep, you missed that. Let that REALLY sink in for a moment. You missed that.

Anyway, we get back from a night of awesome to find that facebook has tried to assassinate the awesome photos of the women that we have. Naturally, we’re a little irked by this, but we understand. Facebook has certain limits on what you can do.
So we uploaded these.

We are troublesome.

Make sure you check out our next show, August 29th at Club 57 West! We are competing in the Evermore Sound Battle of the Bands, brought to you by OrlandoBands.com! Go to WeAreFILTH.net or EvermoreBattle.com for more information!

Stay F.I.L.T.Hy!

Metal has a new addition, might I introduce F.I.L.T.H

1. Before we plow forward give our reader’s a little of your self- description?
Mikey V: I “slap’a’da’bass”
Mike Andes: Guitars
Eric Mann: Generally speaking, I yell profanity at people. Sometimes I sing.
Freddie Hull: Freddie Hull and I am the skin beater.
2. Now F.I.L.T.H, I must know what that represent’s?
Mikey V: We have a couple ideas on the table…but so far, the most enjoyable option involves fan participation. We’re planning on having a contest with the fans….”Whoever comes up with the “Filthy”est acronym gets….”
Freddie Hull: Letting go of your daily grind and having a good time, it’s just a hard rocking party simply put. We get to play the kind of music we like and we try…

BOOOORING(Mission Statement

Metal has become inherently boring. I mean, really, REALLY boring. Okay, maybe not the music itself, but the live shows are just…blah. It’s just dudes in t-shirts and jeans getting on stage and playing their music with the occassional Metallica or Pantera cover thrown in. Big deal.

Hard rock and heavy metal have always been about aggression, energy, and passion. Though the music itself may have it, what’s the point of going to a live show if the experience you are going to have is the same as popping in the CD at home. Hell, you don’t spend gas money, you can sit on your own couch/bed, and the beer is going to be WAAAAY cheaper.

Yet time and time again, metal bands nowadays expect us to drop anywhere from $5-$105 for an experience that is…well, not an experience.

Add to that, there is a new regime of PC that states you can’t do certain things. Don’t say offensive things. Don’t have naked women on stage. Don’t be fun.

Well, my name is Eric Mann, and I am the vocalist for a band called F.I.L.T.H, and to all that, I say this.

Fuck that.
Seriously, fuck that.

Eric Mooning the crowd

We Are F.I.L.T.H. We don’t believe you should pay extra money for a boring product. We don’t believe in “supporting metal” if the metal is not going to give you something to support. We aren’t here to say all bands do this, but to the bands that do, we say, evolve or die.

We are here to give you a show. We are here to give you an experience.

Your live show should be something different. It should be worth the extra money to get in and the beer and liquor that is 300% more money than what you would pay if you just stayed home. You should demand energy. You should demand passion. You should demand half naked girls dancing on stage and making out.

(We have that)

Demand that your band sweat and bleed on stage for you. You are in control of what you support. You don’t owe it to us to drop your hard earned money.

We owe you an experience that is worth your money.

We Are F.I.L.T.H.

Will you join our F.I.L.T.H Nation?
